The University of Kentucky Board of Trustees has approved the construction phase of a new “makerspace” building for the UK Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering — advancing a project designed to expand student innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The Fujio Cho Department of Engineering Technology in the University of Kentucky Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering will launch a new, full-day lecture series this fall. The inaugural Fujio Cho Leadership Lecture Series will be held on Nov. 5, organized around the theme, “The Future of Manufacturing: Lean Thinking in a Digital World.”
